In the fifteen years since it’s foundation EO Teilifís has forged a reputation as one of Ireland’s leading Television production companies and facilities provider.

In it’s infancy the company concentrated primarily on the production of highly acclaimed children’s programming.  In 1996, EO Teilifís in  partnership with Tyrone Productions, were commissioned by TG4  (Irish language broadcaster) to produce the channel’s flagship drama series “Ros na Rún”.  This is the single largest independent production commissioned in the history of Irish broadcasting and is now entering it’s ninth year of production. 

Factual programming also form an integral part of  EO Teilifís’ activities and the company has produced a number of probing, spirited and intrepid documentaries.

The development of skills, resources and people and a desire to explore new areas of production has been central to the success and growth of the company.  As well as extending the range of television productions it produces, EO Teilifís’ core business has expanded to include a production facilities company, Iar Fhís which allows the company to offer both state of the art facilities and highly experienced crews for all types of production.
