Major new development for Irish Language TV drama writing……….SÍOL is a new development initiative that has assisted talented writers / directors to develop a script that will be broadcast as a part of a drama series on TG4. SÍOL has given 6 writers and six directors from the Gaeltacht or those who are fluent in Irish the opportunity to write, develop and produce a television script. The iniative is supported by the BCI, TG4, Gréasán na Meán & Údarás na Gaeltachta. Principal photography began on Monday 8th June and continued for 6 weeks until the 17th July.

Currently we are in post production and the six short dramas will be broadcast on TG4 in May 2010.

Seacht won the award for best drama in the category Young People at the recent Celtic Media Festival in Carnarferon in Wales. The drama Seacht is an edgy youth drama series based in a school for the performing arts in Northern Ireland.  This series was a co-production between Eo Teilifís,  Stirling Productions and Tyrone Productions.
