			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This documentary tells the story of pregnant teenager Prisscilla Connolly, 19, from Ros a Mhíl, Connamara who is six months pregant with her first child. After completing her leaving certificate Prisscilla had planned to go to college and travel the world, but her plans have since changed, in a month she will be a teen mom.</p>
<p>Prisscilla and Padraig have been dating for four years. When Prisscilla first found out she was pregnant she worried about telling Padraig but her worries were wasteful as Padraig was more that happy about this life changing news.</p>
<p>This documentary tells the personal story of Padraig and Prisscilla as they prepare to welcome their beautiful daughter into the world and overcome many obstacles.</p>
<p>This programme will be aired on the 30th October, 2011.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span>“ó Bhearna go Carna 2” is an insightful observational documentary series that captures the </span><span>passion, determination and struggle of six dedicated volunteers working in the Connemara communities. We delve </span><span>into the lives of our volunteers who invest </span><span>time and energy in a number of diverse organizations </span><span>such as “The Galway Mountain Rescue”, “The Irish Coastguard-Costello Bay Unit”, “Camp Claddagh”, “Madra” and “To Russia with love”</span><span>.</span><span> </span><span>We will be met with stories of courage and stories from the people who count on these brave individuals. This series offers a unique glimpse into a world that is sometimes sad, sometimes humorous but always real.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span> </span>All these stories are taking place every day around us, stories that are positive and inspirational when most find little to be joyful about. Many have benefited from these extradonary people and we will have the opportunity to meet many more that will benefit from our six local heroes. This series begins on the 9<sup>th</sup> January 21:30 on TG4.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span lang="GA">Six short films, showcasing new talent in the fields of Directing and Writing for Irish language Drama.</span></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span lang="GA"><span style="font-weight: normal;">The overall theme of the six short films is <strong><em>Clann</em></strong> (family or tribe).<span> </span>Each film deals with the concept of family, and adapts to screen an original script celebrating emerging Irish writing talent.</span></span></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="GA">Each film is an independent story and although the telling of these stories ranges from dark to humourous to bizarre, each film presents an intense journey of discovery for the central character.<span> </span><strong>SÍOL </strong>explores the many aspects of the family and the role of the family unit in modern Irish society.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="GA">Each film promises compelling viewing, raw drama and the exciting prospect of emerging Irish talent.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="GA">The first of the six short films &#8220;Náire&#8221; will be broadcast on TG4  on Monday 8th March at 10.00 p.m.</span></p>

<p>Stone Cold Sober is now airing on RTÉ 2 every Tuesday at 10.25.  It follows the lives of 6 regular guys who like nothing better than going for a pint or ten at their local pub &amp; waste away the wee small hours of the morning in one or other&#8217;s houses. However, they have recently become tired of the same drinking cycle and decide to go Stone Cold Sober for 6 months to see what else life has to offer.</p>

<p>Major new development for Irish Language TV drama writing&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;.SÍOL is a new development initiative that has assisted talented writers / directors to develop a script that will be broadcast as a part of a drama series on TG4. SÍOL has given 6 writers and six directors from the Gaeltacht or those who are fluent in Irish the opportunity to write, develop and produce a television script. The iniative is supported by the BCI, TG4, Gréasán na Meán &amp; Údarás na Gaeltachta. Principal photography began on Monday 8th June and continued for 6 weeks until the 17th July.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Currently we are in post production and the six short dramas will be broadcast on TG4 in May 2010.</p>
